Not that a wet, nekkid Reid and/or a wet nekkid Morgan wouldn’t be ALL THE CHRISTMASES EVER RIGHT UNDER MAH TREE WITH SPARKLY LIGHTS and all, but here’s the thing. The UNF isn’t there for me in this scene. I know, I know. Matthew Gray Gubler is WORKING the shaggy hair and the wet shirt and everything - but I know what this scene is. It’s less UNF-y than you think. 

Actually, in the context of this scene, Morgan not wanting to watch is more evidence of his affection for Reid (platonic or otherwise). This scene is when Reid has just heroically walked into a house that’s been contaminated with a highly virulent biological weapon and he’s locked himself in so that nobody else gets sick with him. 

Morgan not wanting to see someone he cares about stripped and scrubbed down as part of a decontamination and basically treated like a contagion rather than a person and coldly and clinically dealt with is actually what’s really proof of the OTP. 

And with my slash goggles on, Reid is giving Morgan permission NOT to have to watch that because, fuck, watching your boyfriend/lover/partner get a medical scrub down would freak anyone the hell out. And Morgan is taking that permission
